I went to Bruntsfield Evangelical Church last Sunday and it took 10 mins to get there by walking. It was the first time that I went to a church in Edinburgh so I was a bit of nervous and excited because I didn’t know anything about the church in the UK. Of course there are Korean churches in Edinburgh, but I wondered what a church service in here would be like. I thought it would be better to make a choice about a church after I had been to a church in Edinburgh.

However, the atmosphere of the church was very friendly and the the service was good. There were many praises and interesting arrangements, so I felt that it seems like a service for the youth of Korean churches. Maybe I’ll go to the church while I’m staying here.
There was a free lunch for young people after the service but I didn’t attend it because I had to do some other things at that time. In addition, my wife and I wanted go to the cafe – cafe Citron – for lunch last Sunday.

We found that cafe a few weeks ago and I wanted to go to there someday. The cafe Citron is a small but cozy cafe. A simple interior and a pretty color on the walls and doors, friendly staff, fresh and delicious food. There is everything I want in a cafe apart from a lovely cat. I ate a hot roll with a bacon and a sausage and my wife ate some tomate soup with bread, and it was a pleasant and delicious lunch. Above all, the tomato soup was really great!

I will go to the church tomorrow but I won’t go to cafe Ctiron for lunch because I might attend the free lunch for young people in the church. However, I already went there for lunch with Yujin, Yunyoung and my wife today. Maybe I will go to the cafe for lunch every single Saturday.
