At last, today is the first day.
I didn’t deep sleep at last night because maybe I was a little bit nervous and concern. Of course I was tired when I woke up at morning but I could see the sunrise over the Author’s Seat for the first time in Edinburgh.
Although I didn’t know today is bank holiday, some people looks like going to work and I didn’t realize that there was just a few of people. The air of morning was cold and sky was very beautiful. It’s take a 20ish mins from home to school by normal walking. I passed by Lauriston Place and Potterrow and arrived at Hill Place which I will study English for 6 months in Edinburgh.
The sign is on the front wall of building as well as the other university buildings and some peoples who looks like a new student like me walked into the building. Inside of the building isn’t modern but clean, also most of the staffs are looks like a old but very kind indeed. Nevertheless the mood in a hall was uncomfortable so peoples in there smiled awkwardly each other. At the first time I had to get test for placement as I predicted but the test was not easy to me.
A new students in there are about 100 and they came from 20 different countries. The most surprise thing is there are just a few of chinese. On the other hand there are many young japanese – about 20.
I hope to find my name at a proper group to me on the board tomorrow. Also I hope to meet a good friends in that group at school.
